Methodology for hearing Auditory Signals

1. Position yourself in a peaceful environment with an open mind. Turn off your phone and/or any other distracting devices.

2. Listen carefully to both the sounds of your environment and of your own consciousness simultaneously. Be sensitive to very faint sounds. Signals are usually any kind of brief sound, but are not limited to that. You will hear signals at the same time you complete a thought concept. The key is to anticipate the signals.

3. What is it the sound of? Does its symbolic meaning have any connection to your consciousness?
 
Examples include your chair squeaking, window ticks, heater, computer ticks, very faint tick sounds near your ear, etc.
